What is SecretSwapp?
SecretSwapp is a website and mobile app that helps friends, families, teams and communities run a gift swap, also known as Secret Santa, without the paper, the spreadsheet or the stress. The host shares one link, everyone adds their name and a wish, and SecretSwapp draws the names and emails each person who they are gifting. It also lets you make a wishlist for a birthday, wedding or baby shower and share it, so friends and family can chip in on the gifts you want. Starting a Swapp for up to 100 people is free.

Common questions
Quick answers.
Do my people need to download an app?
No. They open your link, add their name, email and wish, and that is all. We email them a personal link so they can change their wish before the draw.
Can the host see who got whom?
No. Matches go straight to each person’s inbox. The host and our support team cannot see the pairings, so the surprise stays.
What happens if someone drops out?
Before the draw, people can leave or you can remove them, and the spot opens up again. You can also change the group size, but never below the number of people who have joined.
What does Smart match do?
It is optional. If you turn it on and a guest agrees, their wish and a private note (never their name or email) help suggest better pairings. If it cannot run, we do a normal random draw instead.
Why are the groups in even numbers?
To keep every group balanced, sizes go in twos from 2 to 100. Need a different number? Change it before the draw.
I already have the SecretSwapp mobile app. Does it work here?
Yes, it is the same account. Sign in with the email and password you already use.
What is a Team Swapp?
It is the paid version for companies and big groups. You can invite up to 300 people by email, each with a personal link, and your team’s names, emails and wishes are deleted automatically 7 days after your gift exchange. It costs ₦1,000 once per Swapp, plus Paystack’s payment fee.
Can I make a wishlist for a birthday or wedding?
Yes. Create one, add gifts and money goals, publish it and share the link. It is the same wishlist you see in the mobile app.
Can my friends pay online?
Yes. Anyone with your link can chip in towards a gift or a money goal and pay securely on Paystack’s page, with no account needed. They get a receipt by email, and you see the progress without seeing who gave.
Is the mobile app in the app stores?
Not yet, but it is coming soon. The app adds private group chat for group wishlists; everything else works on the website.
